Owner and founder of The Rothington Group, Kevin Strawser began his public and governmental affairs career in 2006. Back then, he had been an employee of Chesapeake Energy’s Fort Worth office for over a decade before Barnett Shales initiated its natural gas urban drilling boom. When TOTAL Energies acquired those Barnett Shales assets, Kevin elected to stay on as the Government Affairs Manager where he continued to advocate for cleaner burning natural gas drilling in the Barnett Shale around the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex, along with other renewable initiatives, including solar, wind and EV policies.

 

Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Kevin attended Oklahoma City University where he received a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He spent some time in interstate commerce and logistics with JB Hunt and Melton Logistics before moving to New York City. There, Kevin transitioned into a career in Entertainment, which included serving as Company Manager and Producer for dozens of National Broadway Musical Tours across North America and other regional theatrical productions. While in NYC, Kevin also joined the National Football League’s Marketing, Sponsor and Entertainment Department, where he assisted with sponsor initiatives, licensing, and entertainment bookings for halftime shows at Kickoff Weekends, Thanksgiving Classics, Pro Bowls, and Super Bowls.
